The Cloud Identity Summit will delve into various aspects of Cloud Identity Management, including identity protection, managing external accounts, passwordless authentication, least privilige access and much more. This free event emphasizes the exchange of ideas and knowledge among participants. Attendees come from diverse industries and regions, making it a truly international gathering.
The sixth Cloud Identity Summit will take place on September 4, 2025. Moving forward, we are excited to announce that this edition will be an in-person only event, once again offered free of charge. This year, we will stay in Dortmund, with the exact location to be announced in the coming weeks—stay tuned!

2024
The fifth Cloud Identity Summit took place on September 5, 2024. Building on the success of our first hybrid event last year, we continued with this format, offering the conference free of charge. We were thrilled to host the event at the Microsoft Office in Cologne, near the Rhine, thanks to the support of Microsoft.
Our list of sponsors has grown, and we are grateful to adesso SE, glueckkanja, e-on, Microsoft, and Teal Consulting for their support as Gold sponsors. Their contributions made it possible to offer this conference at no cost to participants.
This year’s keynote was delivered by Merill Fernando, Microsoft PM for Entra, who provided an exciting and insightful presentation. We made some changes to the conference format, offering ten sessions across two parallel tracks, both on-site and streamed to participants worldwide. The event concluded with a roundtable discussion featuring all our experts.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our speakers for their invaluable contributions to our rich and informative program. It was wonderful to finally meet in person and enjoy the event together.
2023
The forth Cloud Identity Summit took place on September 07, 2023. After our first hybrid event last year we going format with this format and of course continue to offer it free of charge. The location were made available to us by DICE (Debeka Innovation Center) in Koblenz near to the Mosel. Furthermore, adesso SE and glueckkanja-gab supported us again as partners – thank you! Without them we would not have been able to offer this conference free of charge for the participants. We change the conference a bit were able to offer ten sessions in two parallel tracks were held on site and additionally streamed to participants all over the world. The subsequent roundtable with all experts rounded off the program. We would like to thank our speakers, without whom we would not have been able to offer the rich and informative program! We were very happy that we were finally able to meet in person and had a lot of fun together.
2022
The third Cloud Identity Summit took place on September 22, 2022. After two virtual conferences, we were able to offer the 3rd edition as a hybrid event and of course continue to offer it free of charge. The location were made available to us by adesso in Bonner Bogen. Furthermore, glueckkanja-gab and yubico supported us as partners. We would like to thank our partners very much! Without them we would not have been able to offer this conference free of charge for the participants. The conference consisted of two parts: in the morning we were able to offer two workshops and in the afternoon eight sessions were held on site and additionally streamed to participants all over the world. The subsequent roundtable with all experts rounded off the program. We would like to thank our speakers, without whom we would not have been able to offer the rich and informative program!We were very happy that we were finally able to meet in person and had a lot of fun together.

2021
The second Cloud Identity Summit took place on September 10, 2021 as a virtual conference. In 2021 we had a large number of speaker applications and it was very difficult for us to choose. Here again a big thank you to all speakers! With 10 sessions spread over two tracks, we were able to increase our offer compared to the last event. We would like to thank our speakers for the top-class sessions in the field of Cloud Identity and Cloud Security! The feedback from the participants showed that the exchange of information was an enrichment for everyone involved.
We had a total of 250 participants, with up to 180 concurrent participants in the sessions. About 70% of the participants came from Europe, 20% from the USA and the rest from the rest of the world. We are very proud to be able to reach people all over the world.
2020
The first Cloud Identity Summit took place on October 23, 2020. Originally planned as an on-site conference in Koblenz, the event was held as a virtual conference due to the pandemic. Seven sessions were offered in two tracks.
